I purchased an engraved bracelet for my wife for our anniversary. While waiting for the engraving I noticed a beautiful white gold and diamond bracelet that was 5x the price. I thought why not. I asked the associate (Youmna) if this would be refundable as my wife doesn’t wear a lot of jewelry. I was told that the engraved one was final sale for obvious reasons. She returned from asking her manager Dahlia, and said that yes it was returnable for full refund. So I made the added purchase. 2 weeks later I returned as my wife did not want the white gold bracelet as she doesn’t wear much jewelry. The assistant manager (Yara) said that they would have to take it to the back to test it. She then returned to confirm I had the same credit card it was purchased on. Ten minutes later she came out and said that she called her manager and the manager said that it was on sale so it would only be available for in store credit. Obviously this was unacceptable and nowhere on the receipt does it say that this piece is final sale and not available for full refund. She then called the original associate and that associate confirmed that I specifically asked this question while making the purchase. But now her story had changed that I was only able to exchange it for a different size. Saying she didn’t flat out say that I would be able to get a full refund nor even a mention of a store credit. Saying she only said it was to change size. The story when trying to close a sale from the associates and the managers is very different when you go to return a $1300 item from this store. I am now forced to talk to customer service as nobody will give me a refund. And trust me, I was utterly polite the entire time trying to resolve this while being completely polite. This place only cares about selling you things no matter what they have to say to close the deal.
