Honestly only giving one star because the dentist did help me get some pain meds after charging me for an xray. My main issue is with one of the receptionists. Never have a met a more rude or less compassionate person. She wouldn't let me see any doctor days later when i came back and took it in her own hands to reject giving me more pain meds. Since when does a receptionist have authority over the doctor? She also tried to gaslight me by saying i must have written the wrong phone number down in some woozy, pain filled state and she couldn't possibly have made a clerical error herself. AVOID AVOID AVOID

BEWARE- I wouldn’t even give them one star but I had to click on one to write the review and let everyone know wth just happened to me at this establishment. I am in complete shock for how I have been treated after being with this Dentist for over 10yrs. A couple of months ago, I had to reschedule an appointment, twice, because I got very sick. The receptionist told me Dr. Chow was pissed and that if I wanted to come back I wasn’t allowed to prebook an appointment, I had to call in and see if I could get fit it in on that day. After 4 weeks, one of which they were closed, today April 10, 2025, I called at 7am and was told I can come in at 10:50am. A half hour before the appointment, the receptionist Gerry, called me back and said Dr. Chow saw my name on the list of patients and told her to call me and cancel it. Apparently he refuses to keep me on as a client because I have Government Coverage being on Disability and he doesn’t make any money off of that. Now I don’t know if Dr. Chow is the one who made this call or if the receptionist is doing this without him even being aware of it, either way, I really liked Dr. Chow and am totally blown away by this unexpected turn of events, after all these years. Wow 🤯

Calamitys Nightmares

My teeth’s health hasn’t been the greatest so when I went to see Dr Chow he helped fill in some. The prices were stupidly expensive for 4 fillings, $1500. Instead My guardians and I opted to go out of state to get my teeth done The thing is I had two decaying upper molars at the back of my mouth, keep this in mind. While at the dental clinic out of state using the X-rays that were taken at this clinic in mission, they immediately pointed out 3 infections. Dr Chow didn’t even rule out the fact I may of had an infection, it would’ve costed me my life cause of how bad one of them was. It was never noticed by the Mission dental clinic. Also I got 2 teeth extractions ( including implants ), a root canal + crowning and 5 fillings done at the clinic in Mexico for around $6,500 (A1 smile design if you want to know, super amazing ) It was going to be 24k to get almost all that done but they were going to not geo the implants. This place is good for simple fillings and cleanings not for checking for the deeper issues. Two stars, switching dentists.

I'm so surprised to see these reviews about Dr. Chow being money-focused. My teeth are in pretty good condition, but he has NEVER recommended an unnecessary procedure, and when he has suggested aesthetic procedures I don't feel I need, he's been accepting of my preferences. When I have needed more detailed work, I have found the prices quite reasonable compared with other dentists. Only my experience, but I've been very pleased with the service here for many years.
