Happy customer here, can only say great things about Lewis who did our boiler service and repairs. From start to finish he kept us informed and aware of what needed doing. We also wanted to upgrade the thermostat and the Magnetic Filter, which he did for us, at a fair price for parts and labour. What drew me to M J Burt, was the fact that they publish their service prices on their website, as well as what each service level contains. That’s outstanding! compared to “some” who like to load prices if they think the customer can afford more. (sorry but you know it happens). I believe they look after heating and plumbing, so I’ll be using them when the need arises.

Last week I had a new bathroom toilet installed. To begin with, the workmen had to visit me on a few occasions to discover what the problem was with the old toilet. They were always efficient and always on time, polite and friendly. Also, it was a pleasure speaking to the office about my problem. I would certainly use the company for any more plumbing jobs I might have in the future and would recommend the firm to anyone who has any plumbing difficulties.

We booked an appointment on 9th January 2025 and Lewis visited our property and took details of works we needed with the promise of a quotation within the week. Despite several polite chasers by email and phone call with apologies and promises of “we’ll get the quote to you by end of this week” (same promise 2 weeks running!!) … it is now 19th February, and no quote! Needless to say we have taken our custom elsewhere and been given the level of service we hoped for from MJ Burt. Avoid this business!
