We recently hired Modern Home to renovate our fireplace mantle, and the experience exceeded our expectations. Josh was incredibly friendly, clearly explained the entire process, and was a pleasure to work with. He checked in with us daily and frequently stopped by in person to ensure everything was on track. His crew was fantastic—professional, courteous, and always left the workspace spotless at the end of the day. The finished fireplace and mantle turned out even better than we imagined. After discussing our Primary Bathroom renovation project with 4 contractors, as well as getting pricing, we selected Modern Home Improvement & Remodeling. Josh and his team were very reliable, responsive and knowledgeable. He took the time to understand the details and what we were looking for. Raul was our foreman and spent a lot of time with us as the project progressed. Every worker that was on the project and who spent time in our house was neat, polite and friendly. Everyone took time to ensure the disruption to our house was minimized and the dust and debris that was generated by the project was reasonably contained. Josh and Raul offered great ideas and opinions to help us finalize the details as work progressed. Our project was not a cut & dry project and required some true understanding of the details. Josh was fair and transparent on all pricing. Josh and his team at Modern Home Improvement did a wonderful job with our home repair after we sustained water damage from a tub overflow. The team was very accommodating in working with our schedules to get the repairs done in an efficient and thorough manner. Curtis, our primary contractor, was amazing to work with and explained every step of the process as we went along! He made us feel comfortable and involved in the shared decision making as it was not a straight forward project. We appreciated them taking the time and energy to pay attention to the details, and perform their work the “right way”.
