We were advised it could take an hour which was absolutely fine as we understand preparing and cooking. Wow we were impressed. All our curries were piping hot, the portion sizes were so good for the price and not a single item was missed. Super impressed it’s this curry house and will definitely be returning!

I asked to swap to madras sauce and they did and the sauce was banging, thick, spicy and really nice. The box was so much food for one! The lamb chop is usually the decider and that was tender! Gav WOrdered a takeaway for delivery. It took about 90 minutes to arrive (compared to an estimate of 55 minutes). This would not have been an issue except the starter and the side dish were almost stone cold on arrival. The food itself was tasty but if you are going to get a takeaway from Momtaj, I recommend collecting it yourself.

Ordered on the phone for collection and was told 30 minutes which was spot on, we Had:- Tarka Dhall, Prawn Pathia, Vegetable Kashmiri, Chicken Korma, Onion Bhaji, Mushroom Rice and Papadoms. All the dishes were piping hot, full of flavour and good size portions. Personally I would say you would have to go a long way and try a lot of curry houses to find anything better. We will definitely be ordering again and recommending to family and friends.
