Great experience!! You learn the common mistakes in making coffee, and how to avoid. Loved learning the "why" behind how to do things. Very educative and loved the energy of the class, everyone gets a chance to make espresso, latte etc.

I just opened a small café in Montebello, Quebec, and I called on the team at Morala Trading in Ottawa for all my coffee equipment. Fred was very friendly, patient, and generous with his time. He always took the time to answer my countless questions. He also visited the café twice before opening to make sure I was comfortable with the equipment. I would recommend them to anyone anytime! Do not bring your machine here for repairs! We brought in our machine for a cleaning. While they were cleaning the machine, they called and mentioned that there was a misalignment of one of the central parts of our machine. The part in question would cost a minimum of $300 before labour. Rightly so, we asked if they had opened the machine to try to realign this part. They had not. They had not opened the machine and were just going to assume what needed doing and charge us for it. They called back and said that they were able to re-align the piece and add a screw that was missing, and charged us $1.60 for the screw. Dodged a difference of over $300. When we used the machine at home, it worked fine, but it was now leaking from the back. We brought it back because it seemed this was a new issue that they had caused. Their solution: the $300 part they mentioned before, just by coincidence. In chatting with this technician on the phone, he interrupted my partner multiple times and spoke down to her throughout the conversation. Very rude and unkind. Definitely the worst coffee cleaning/repair experience we've had. Not planning on returning.

I recently went here to buy a good quality burr grinder and espresso machine here. The store was not exploding with people like some of the other specialty stores I went to, so the experience was great. They were very helpful and patient, listened to me attentively when I told the about the features I wanted. They took lots of time to explain the various features of the machines in my price range, which made the decision much simpler. And they know their machines! A technician is often there in case there's a question they can't answer (and to test/adjust you machines before you leave with them!). I never felt rushed and am very happy with my purchases. It was the perfect old school shopping experience. :) And wow! What a selection. Parking is not the issue you'd think it would be in Kent I always find a spot on the street or in the lot on the south side of the store. They are clearly passionate about what they do!
