This one of the best hotels for the price. We travel allot and will definitely stay. The owner is always on sight. He helped with the TV. The toilets are the new updated one, the bed was awesome. I am going through cancer treatment and don’t sleep well, that was not the case. I could have slept in. Breakfast was appropriate and great coffee. Sorry I left my Iowa neck pillow behind. Definitely worth the money , my son and I will stay again.

Positive: Owner was very nice and accommodating.. Rooms were clean, but just lots of stains and outdated, but you get what you pay for. Beds were better than most higher rated hotels. Negative: Just the stains on the furniture and noisy AC/Heat units

Cons: The carpet was heavily stained, bathroom had cigarette burns on bathtub and sink, toilet paper holder didn't have the bar even to hold a roll of toilet paper, bathroom door had where it had been kicked and dented, where one would normally hang their pjs they had a piece of tape dangling. Looked under bed and there was wrappers where someone left and housekeeper didn't get. Chairs were broken and heavily stained. Windows were dirty, rust on tissue holder, lighting by bed had a hole in lampshade and was dirty. Light above sink was dirty, towels were stiff and felt like sandpaper, phone was dirty, I didn't want to stay but we did for one night but never again. |Pros: The bed was comfortable and the pillows but yu will never catch me at that motel again.

I travel alot and stay in all kinds of hotels & motels for work. The rooms were big. They were extremely clean. I need Wi-Fi to do transcription after I go do my work. I couldn't get any connection in the first room they put me in and I called and let them know. He immediately moved me to a room that got a great signal. I did lose it again on my last night there and had to go get another room, in another hotel. With that said, the owners were wonderful. They were accommodating and tried their best to make it work for me. The beds were comfy. The rooms were also very quiet. The Cafe next door was amazing. There were a general store across the street and a grocery store about 2 blocks away. The family that runs it were very kind and did their best to make sure my stay was pleasant. They went above and beyond to provide great service. Pros: Location, near everything you could need, rooms are big and quiet. Rooms were also very clean. Beds were big and comfy. Cons: Internet could be spotty but once you're connected it works fast. They didn't have to move me to another room to accommodate me, but they did. If you don't need Wi-Fi, there really isn't a Con. Overall for price, size and cleanliness, location, you won't find a better room. I didn't see or have access to ice, but I actually didn't have time to go look for any. It was a very safe and secure place, I worked night shifts and I never felt unsafe. This family is trying their best to make your stay pleasant. I would recommend it and will likely stay there again if my work goes near there again.
