We had a fantastic stay at the Ohio House Hotel in Chicago! It’s incredibly affordable, especially given its prime location to walk or taking the bus to so many attractions. We took the train, which saved us from parking fees, so I can not speak of that, but the lot seemed spacious and safe. The staff were beyond friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home and let us check in early after a very hot walk from Union Station.||Our room was clean and equipped with a fridge and microwave, which was a nice touch. The bathroom was spotless. The shared upper floor balcony was a cool spot to relax and take in the city vibes. Being in the heart of the city means it can be a bit noisy, but that’s part of the charm! Overall, I highly recommend this hotel

Everything about this place is perfect. Theres an actual parking lot. I can access my car without going into a garage! The staff members are friendly and helpful. The rooms are immaculate. The price is GREAT. We will return 2x a year for bridal market.

I've stayed at this motel several times over the past 15 years, and it's experienced quite a glow-up in that time! The location remains unbeatable, but the rooms and beds definitely have more of a "hotel with an h" feel than before. Clean, comfortable, and some nice amenities - coffee maker, small fridge, iron/ironing board. The employees who attended us were all friendly and helpful. The best new addition (not sure how long they've been doing this) - if you book directly through their website, you get breakfast at the adjacent Deli! The Egg Everything Bagel is a must. If you're gluten-free, for a small upcharge they'll provide an Utz bagel. Temperature is controlled centrally, so no in-room thermostat. Bathroom was clean and the make-up remover wipes were appreciated.

We had a lot of flight issues on our travel to Chicago, and the hotel was easy to work with around those issues. We were able to quickly check in when we finally arrived and take a quick nap before going out to explore the city. The rooms were clean and we didn't have any complaints about the beds or anything else. We had breakfast each day at the little deli on the corner, which was absolutely delicious. Our only two complaints were probably related to the location - (1) it's a little bit of a walk from the nearest metro stop, and (2) we ended up hearing really loud cars on the nearby streets in the middle of the night. Neither of those are really things that the hotel can do anything about, but they were small complaints.
