I wish I could give them less than 1 star. 0/5 stars is what they deserve. We needed a handicapped wheelchair accessible room. That is what we reserved online. That is NOT what we got! The pictures of the room we reserved had hand bars in the bathroom and was big enough for a handicapped person to get into. My grandpa could not even get through the bathroom door with a walker. Also, the bathroom is so small! The side of the bathtub only comes half way up my shin. Once he was seated on the toilet he did not have a way to help himself up. I talked to the guy in the office and he did NOTHING. He essentially said, "sorry about your luck, sucks to be you." He said they DO have rooms like the one we needed, but he gave them to other people. This hotel was NOT worth it. Also, when you walk into the hallway from outside you get punches in the face with the smell of cigarette smoke and marijuana. It was disgusting.

Decided last minute to go to the IL game and needed to find a room that was affordable. Staff was extremely friendly and the room was clean. It worked, rooms were basic and clean, beds were comfortable, staff was friendly. I'd stay again.

Value for money, this place is great. Don't expect much in the way of amenities but the room was clean and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. The towels you get will be threadbare and there's no hair dryer, and I had to ask for shampoo which you'll get in the smallest size possible.

I have had a few extended stays at the Motel 6 in Urbana, Illinois. Each visit was pleasant. The staff is very friendly, rooms are clean, the stays have been quiet. No bugs, no liter, no drama. I felt safe. And the new remodel is so amazing to me. Touch of class. Even the shower heads are an improvement! The beds are still nice and comfortable and again the staff is amazing!!! Everyone greets you and makes you feel welcome. The manager even said, "We try to treat you like family." And they really do. I've stayed in hotels for over a hundred a night. It was either unfriendly staff, horrible beds, or noisey. I don't need a continental breakfast, I just need my Motel 6!!
