Mr. Handyman of Lexington

The work was completed on time and done to our liking. One estimate was high so we only let them do part of the job. We are still considering the second part of the job. The most impressive thing is that they showed up when they said they would and completed the work described.

First, the answering and scheduling was AI. Very odd. But, they came out on time. The person that came was very polite and seemed to be knowledgeable. When he left he said it would be 2 or 3 days, they wanted to find matching tile. We had a leak from our shower and needed the tiles replaced ASAP so we could use our shower. Paid $65 for the visit to get an estimate. Several days go by and we hear nothing. Husband calls and is told it was taking a while to tile match. Meanwhile a different company has already come and given a quote and is waiting on us to schedule them. Another week goes by, same thing. Y'all, it's been 3 weeks and still nothing. My husband called again and had a very frustrating conversation. We thought it was reasonable to request a refund at this point because though the $65 dollars was technically for the worker showing up, we have zero information gained from the company. Nothing. The person he spoke to essentially told us that we wouldn't be getting a refund but he'd get in touch with his supervisor and get back to us THAT DAY. Guess who never got a call or a quote? Yeah, I understand wanting to match our tile, but how can a different company already have it figured out for us, but this company can give us anything? Like not even a ballpark without the cost of the tile or something similar. Terrible customer service. I will definitely steer as many people away as I can. I'll never understand why people can't admit they made a mistake and try to make it right. That goes a LONG way with people.

Great experience! We were given an estimate up front. Cory showed up exactly at 8:00 am as scheduled and worked tirelessly all day to assemble a large wooden bunk bed set and a dresser for us. Cory was friendly and professional and did a fantastic job.
