Mr. Handyman of South Essex County

We had an overall great experience with Mr. Handyman. When I reached out Angela described the fees and how they would apply to the visit. We needed curtain rods removed and rehung, applicable wall repair and a coat rack that I made from an old octagon window hung. As described on the day of the visit I received a text with a photo of the technician, Walter telling me that he was on his way. He arrived on time. We went over what needed to be done and he first went to Home Depot for the hardware that would be needed for the coat rack. He worked swiftly and skillfully. The coat rack was not the simplest of tasks as due to a circuit breaker panel on the same wall it had to be secure yet moveable if we need to get at the panel. We’re very pleased with the end result of all of the work completed and would hire the company again. I will also request Walter. He is professional, pleasant and an asset to this company.

I think I’m in love! What a great day finally having some qualified, personable and professional help around the house! Chuck and Rob were excellent as they tackled projects that have been weighing us down for YEARS. They cared about our home and brought some additional concerns to my attention. They actually downsold as opposed to upsold what we needed. A new faucet? Nope, just an aerator. All new foam core boards under our sunroom that NGrid tried to sell us? Nope there was plenty of insulation so only fixed some broken down areas. Their painting of exterior door surround and pillars and interior breezeway was second to none. I have already started my list to invite them back. I feel like I made new friends today. I will highly recommend Mr Handyman in Peabody to all of our friends and neighbors. Bravo, guys! One caveat: I have not been able to get independent contractors to work on our small projects. Anyone who thinks this company is overpriced must have been very lucky in the past. I am happy to pay for great service and reasonable response times. The old days are over and we need businesses like this to fulfill contracting needs. It is worth paying a reputable business and leave shaking hands and feeling some joy having met people with big hearts and great work ethic. THANK YOU ALL!

I have had two professional servicemen from Me. Handyman. They are always on time, see what needs to be done and get right to it. I've had a bathroom shelf repainted, outdoor sensor lights replaced and winterization of a Sunsetter Awning cleaned and covered for the winter. Amir and Escaban are professional, courteous and work very hard. They clean up all materials and leave the site spotless. Angela, the receptionist and schedule assistant is friendly, professional and accommodating. I will continue to use them after many good years. They are friendly, reliable and aim to please. Prices vary on the job and length of service. I find them fair. They are a company that is reliable with good business practices who hold themselves accountable to high standards and customer satisfaction.
