Mt Baker Roofing really knocked this one out of the park! Their quote was competitive with other contractors. Particularly interesting, I noticed that for my metal roof the lower price of another contractor's bid scaled directly with the thickness of the material they planned to install. So, although MBR's bid came in a bit higher, there is tangibly and proportionately higher quality to the product they're offering. Their customer service throughout the process was also stellar. Jason, who did the initial estimate, took time to really understand what I needed, and iterated on the quote several times. The information in materials he provided was all really helpful in understanding exactly what I was going to get. Emily, the project manager, was very communicative about scheduling and logistics and kept everything on track throughout. When the skylight didn't fit as expected she put me in touch with a drywall contractor and deducted the cost of that small job from the project invoice. David and the whole work crew were courteous and professional, and willing to accommodate as unexpected challenges came up during the job. Considering the whole installation happened in on-and-off rain they were really well organized to keep the inside of the house dry and livable throughout the job. They also went the extra mile to get little details right. Some tricky angles on the sides of the eaves would have been an easy place to cut corners, but they put in the extra effort to make them match the rest of the roof. This project was obviously extremely important to me and my partner, and a major expense for us personally. Mt Baker Roofing treated it with the same care and attention that I would have. I couldn't be happier with the result.

The crew was wonderful. Everyone I interacted with went above and beyond. Wendy, the crew supervisor was great. She even came out to the house to look at the roof, the work done so far, and to see how we were liking our experience with the company and the crew, the quality of work done. I have nothing but positive things to say about them and about this company. When they got to the point where half the shingles and sheeting was removed, it was discovered that there was preexisting damage to the trusses which needed to be repaired prior to finishing the other half of the roof. The owner, Mark, called me and let me know. He offered to help me find a second contractor to get out there and fix it. He spent half the day on his phone, calling and texting to get it figured out and was able to find us one quickly. More preexisting damage was found as the roof was worked on and Mt Baker Roofing took care of it for us even though it wasn’t what they were hired for originally. Our new gutters and new roof are beautiful, really well made, they use excellent products. Excellent customer service and workmanship , very professional, hard working, cleaned up everything really well. The quote I received was cheaper than the ones I got from other companies too, so I can say they are competitive in price.

We are delighted with our new roof. It was with great trepidation that we began the process of having our roof done. We spoke with one man who was very nice and gave us a good estimate. We were leaning toward that company until we spoke with Cameron at Mt.Baker. Cameron got up on the roof and examined it then showed us the spots where there were concerns as well as suggesting we replace the two 26 yo skylights. Then he showed us the materials they would use and gave us an excellent estimate. We decided to upgrade and the work and materials are warranted for FIFTY years. You could not want a better crew. They were quiet, polite and hard-working. They used magnetized sweepers to make sure there were no nails or nailheads left behind. The crew supervisor was terrific. He kept us posted on everything and was polite and professional. The new roof looks awesome. Mt. Baker Roofing is simply the best.

Fantastic Job. From estimating through the completion of the project, I couldn't be happier. Despite unforeseen issues, the project was still completed in less than a week. Gerardo, Ulises and the rest of the crew (whose names I unfortunately can't remember) was hard working and professional right down to the last detail (including rinsing their shoes before stepping off the ladder onto the new roof and the gutter crew that did a great job of making a downspout inconspicuous on an exposed log support. ).
