I don't get to Welland often so I haven't been to this restaurant in quite a long time (they opened in 1993) But I really enjoyed our visit today. There's a restaurant side and there's a bar side and we sat on the bar side. Really pleasant warm lighting and atmosphere, lively bar but not noisy. (There's also an outside patio) They have live music, they have happy hour specials, they have daily specials. Although their draft beer on tap has a shocking black of stouts and other dark beers, we enjoyed ourselves anyway. The service was friendly fast and fantastic, and the food was great! Fish and chips were wonderful, french fries were particularly good, fish had a great batter to fish ratio. Ham turkey BLT on a pita was also really great. I also enjoyed that they brought out a large glass bottle of freshwater for the table. Definitely will return here!! Prices / menu were accurate as of end of July 2025

My party and I had so much fun at M.T. bellies. The staff were all very friendly and nice. They shared the store lore with us which was super fun. A party of 14 was in and out in an hour and a half after 8:30pm. The atmosphere is awesome and they were very knowledgeable about allergies and open to requests and customizing the menu. Tim M. WAS SO MUCH FUN. He really made the night, I don't know if I would've enjoyed our dinner as much as I did without him.

I visited this restaurant twice while in the area on business (I went back the second night because the first was so good!) Eating alone can be awkward - the staff here did a great job of making me feel welcome and not weird for eating out solo. Both dinners were amazing- I’ll be back if I’m in the area again!

All I can say is WOW!!! First time in over 20 years and we've gone 3 times this week!! The food was beyond compare! We had the Philly cheese wrap, the New York strip steak dinner, the chicken brie on panini, fish and chips and their excellent spinach artichoke dip...my hubby LOVES the wings and they are a very generous size/portion!! .The service, FANTASTIC!! Big shout out to Danielle(Danni) who not only provided fast and efficient service, she was exceptionally personable as well!! Our meals were brought out hot and the timing was perfect!! And they had Moosehead!!! One of the most original aspects, the balloon artist for the kids!! He is very talented and my grandsons loved getting a very unique ballon creation!! If you cannot decide on where to go for an excellent meal and the best service, MT Bellies should be your first choice!! P.S. thanks very much to the restaurant for the EXCELLENT dessert!!
