We have had multiple maintenance requests this year and not only have they been responsive to every request- but they have fixed or addressed each one by the end of the week. The management company and specific building managers are accessible, responsive, and efficient. We are so thankful

My partner and I lived in an MTD building for four years and overall had an awesome experience. The apartment was clean and well maintained in a good neighborhood. It was also newly updated, with newer fixtures in the bathroom and kitchen and for the location was a great price. Any time we had an issue we were able to report it via an online portal and maintenance requests were always handled quickly (usually within a day) and professionally. I frequently had questions or needs and everyone in the office was kind and responsive, in particular Donna. The only reason we left was because we needed a bit more space than the one bedroom we had with MTD, otherwise we would have stayed. Would definitely rent with MTD again in the future.

'All that glitters is not gold' If you care about your health or safety don’t rent at 7600 N. Sheridan. Newly “ remodeled “ apartments but be prepared to have a difficult time with management. From the first day I pick up the keys everything started to go downhill. I had my furniture ready to move in but the back door was blocked by piles of trash and it took almost a week for management to respond and get it cleaned. The shower water smelled like straight sewage and was pretty sickening. The bathroom sink flooded my whole bathroom floor. The neighbors smoked heavily even though it’s a “non - smoking” building. The smoke steeped into my apartment and made it difficult to breathe or even been in the building most nights. My furniture and clothes started to reek of cigarettes. The building manager was helpful, but the actual property managers continued to tell me about my own experience. Quick to get you in the door, slow to respond after you sign the dotted line. I put in my 60 day notice less then 60 days of me moving in. I’m only writing this review to help someone not have to experience what I went through.

We rented for 2 years with MTD in Hyde Park and were completely satisfied with the experience, and even think it's one of our best rentals in years of military moves! We were warned many times about predatory or awful property management companies in the area, but we have zero complaints and only positive things to share about MTD. Maintenance requests were almost always completed within 24 hours, and the maintenance team was so nice and patient. Admin-wise we communicated mainly with Bill, who was incredibly helpful and responsive, especially when the apartment above us flooded and entered our unit - everything was resolved and remediated quickly. I definitely recommend MTD!
