We had the best experience with Ed and his team from Whalley's Four Season Roofing and you will too! A big wind storm in June had lifted some of our shingles, leaving our roof exposed. Unfortunately, it rained and we ended up with water dripping through the cracks in the plywood sheets and into our attic, then down into our upper level. We called Whalley's and Darlene was so patient and understanding while I explained what had happened. She sent Ed out to do our estimate the very next day. This man is a delight - a true long serving professional that takes the time to inspect, explain, and talk to the client. He was personable and honest and just super helpful; even giving me tips about how to clean the water stain on our ceiling. We received the estimate via email, and the work was scheduled right away. Ed even called to make sure we were good to go so he could order our shingles before the long weekend to avoid any delays. The repair job was completed on July 3, 2025 by two very nice gentleman, who showed up exactly when they were scheduled. They introduced themselves, shook hands, and were very polite and friendly. They put down tar paper to cover our exposed roof (apparently this isn't done by homebuilders anymore if your roof is sharply pitched - which would have saved us the leaking), they caulked the edged of the shingles down to make sure the patch wouldn't lift. You can't even tell the roof was patched - the shingles were a perfect match. They also went around and hammered any exposed nails to make sure there no other shingles lifted. The gents then collected loose shingles from our yard that had blown off the roof. (Love dudes who clean up!) It's been a month since the repair with lots of stormy and windy weather and everything is perfectly intact. I would recommend Whalley's for any roofing job, big or small, because this family-run business really knows their stuff and how to treat clients. They are professional, personable, super-fast and very skilled. It was just a wonderful experience all around.

These guys are all the great things the reviews say they are. I have a 1914 house and the roof was in rough shape.....broken sheathing, no vents, chimneys in very bad condition. Whalley's was the only company I trusted to fix it properly and they did a phenomenal job, from start to finish. They worked hard for two days, were so personable and friendly, and cleaned everything up afterwards. In a world where so many tradespeople disappoint, this company reaffirms your faith in great craftsmanship, expertise, communication, customer service and just all-round good people. Highly recommend.

Ed Whalley and his team exceeded our expectations in replacing our 28 year old 3600 square foot cedar shake roof with Class 4 asphalt shingles. His team of nine were very diligent, hard working and coordinated resulting in the replacement of our roof in only one day. When the work was complete the team cleaned up the site thoroughly. Ed exudes trust and extensive experience. He was very helpful in providing samples so that we could pick a shingle colour that was a great match for our house. During the course of performing the work we observed that Ed treated his team with great respect and you could tell that they respected him. Darlene was exceptional in coordination and administration of the work. Overall, Whalley's is to be commended for outstanding performance of the services which resulted in a happy customer. We recommend Whalley's highly.
