Contracting MV Properties to collect rent on my commercial property was an absolute nightmare. Communication was nearly impossible—emails, phone calls, and voicemails went unanswered, making the entire process frustrating and unprofessional. If Jonathan, the owner, is truly overseeing the company, then it explains the poor management and disorganized operations. In comparison, I’ve worked with other property management companies from out of province that were five-star experiences with zero issues. Unfortunately, MV Properties is the complete opposite—badly managed from top to bottom. For anyone considering this company, my advice is simple: stay far away.

Unprofessional property management services with a lack of communication on their end, specifically Jonathan Matheson, who apparently is ill, or off work more days than he actually does work. MV Property Management violates their own contracts and promises, fail to respond to voicemails and emails, and lie about payment schedules and supposed automated payments to their clients. The stress of dealing with this agency to oversee commercial/tenant issues is not worth your money and the time you will waste getting these people to follow up with you and do what it is they say they will do. It makes more sense to deal with tenant issues on your own as you will end up having to chase down this property management service for your money on top of whatever tenant issues you may already have. Save your money, go elsewhere or do it yourself and do not trust these people. It will literally take the threat of lawyers getting involved to get anything done on their end, although hopefully this review will inspire change on their end. For what it's worth I'd never post a negative review about people/companies knowing the effect it may have on a person's livelihood but when my own livelihood is at stake, this is what I am forced to do. Good luck to those that move forward with these guys, you'll need it.

MV Property Services recently renovated my entire living room and dining area. Jonathan and Matt made a big renovation seem quite simple and handled it with ease. They were very professional in their communication before, during and after the project. I am so happy with the final product and will be using their services again in the future.
