Myogenics is a unique, effective, and efficient fitness program. Every session is one-on-one with your chosen trainer, either in their scientifically outfitted studio, with a variety of machines to assist, with no others training during your allotted time, or via zoom, which has been a very helpful mode of training during the pandemic. Very reasonably priced for the level of individual attention provided. I have been training at Myogenics for about 4 years, and the results have been terrific in every way. Strongly recommended.
I started at Myogenics in February, 2017. I'd been going to LA Fitness for many years prior - spending about 4.5 hours at the gym a week. The high-intensity training program at Myogenics (slow motion training is perhaps more descriptive) is a more efficient use of time for about the same results. I take two 20-minute sessions at Myogenics a week. The gym model is different. They only schedule one client at a time, so while you're there, you own the gym. It's my experience a great trainer is detail oriented and makes sure a routine is performed precisely in order to avoid injury and produce the most impact. An effective trainer adapts an exercise program to my needs and capabilities. The trainers at Myogenics all perform at that level. They are thoroughly experienced with the high-intensity exercise programs and are experts on the equipment. I have seen no turnover in the trainers since I've been there, so they get to know you well. The equipment, which is designed for slow-motion exercise, is amazingly configurable. For example, I had quit doing leg presses at LA Fitness, because because of knee pain. At Myogenics, they adjusted the leg press machine so that I had no knee pain. The back machines are the best I've worked with. I've never seen anything like them elsewhere. Myogenics is an outstanding gym and a huge improvement over what I had been doing - both in the quality of the training, exercise , and the reduced time commitment.
I don't like exercising. But, I want to remain healthy. So, I used to do Pilates for one hour, 6 days a week to keep myself in shape. But, I never liked how much time it took, even when done remotely. Then, I started working with Myogenics Fitness about a year ago via zoom. After a year, I can tell you that with less than 30 minutes *once a week* , I have as good, or better muscle tone and strength as I had from doing Pilates 6 days a week. And the weekly routine that I do with Chad at Myogenics is so much easier and probably much safer than doing something like Pilates. Chad is very easy to work with, highly professional and knowledgeable about this unique form of exercise. I would definitely recommend Myogenics to anyone, at any age, wishing to improve their fitness.
