We had originally booked another resort in Banff, but after reading reviews we cancelled and made a relatively last minute change to here via VRBO.||We are so very glad we did.||The initial booking was made and immediately the host, Franco, responded thanking us. We continued being in contact with him up to our arrival and he was so helpful, so accommodating and so kind, we knew we had made a good decision.||The chalet was simply amazing... clean, welcoming, exactly as described. It's located in a nice part of town, has the most amazing hot pool and hot tub, and again, anything we needed help with, Franco responded immediately. ||Franco gave us all sorts of suggestions, and truly made us feel at home. He even had a Banff Park Pass for our trip, something we appreciate.||I have absolutely no concerns about this place. I thoroughly recommend it. Being in the travel industry myself, I am usually very critical about my stays. ||This truly was one of the very best experiences I have ever had.||Thank you, Franco, for your kindness.

This has been the worst two-day vacation of my life. I haven’t had a worse holiday in the past five years. The hotel charges $250 for cleaning, which is clearly stated on Booking.com. But in the room itself, there’s a huge sign saying we have to do all the cleaning ourselves—taking out the trash, making the bed, everything. I simply don’t understand what the cleaning fee is for if we have to do all the work ourselves. It’s not a problem to clean up, but I don’t see why we’re being charged. On top of that, I received two parking fines for no reason. I asked the management multiple times and they confirmed that parking is free for guests. I contacted them again, and they just told me to deal with the parking service. When I found the person who issued the fine, he said it was a mistake in the hotel’s own database. Management doesn’t want to fix it. They just handed me two fines even though I followed all instructions: I scanned the QR code and registered my car as soon as I checked in. It’s in their system, yet I still got a second fine the next day. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel to anyone. My mood is completely ruined, my time with my family is ruined, and it’s just terrible. $55 isn’t a lot, and we can clean up ourselves because we’re tidy people, but the whole experience is awful. Horrible staff, horrible conditions, horrible parking, horrible place. I would never recommend this hotel under any circumstances.

The condo was overall not too bad. I personally would not pay the price again, but peak season I get the cost. My feet were black from the floor, found hair pins on the floor. The cleaning lady rushed us out the door the morning we were leaving, tried coming in at 1030 when check out was 11. Sat outside the door with loud videos playing we could hear inside. We rushed so badly we forgot the urn of our daughter’s mom and had to go back. I’m not sure what she was going to be cleaning because it wasn’t great to begin with. The overall facility is ok, picnic tables by the bbq has a dangerous rusted out leg that is treacherous as well. Unit 129

Awesome location with a great pool right in the middle and a really nice ambiance. It’s walking distance to the town centre, which is super convenient. Only downside is the tricky parking situation—the parking guy seems to hand out tickets randomly, so be careful with where you leave your car.
