Made our first Porsche purchase and experience was flawless and amazing all around! I strongly recommend to ask for Anthony Occhipinti! We picked up a CPO 2019 Macan for my wife and the delivery was seamless, some concerns came up with the car after delivery but Anthony and the Porsche service team were very quick and diligent to make any and all repairs at no cost to us, provider loaner cars etc. Truly grateful for the great treatment from all of the staff, I will definitely be going back for my next purchase!
I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks to Elena Komar, F&I manager. In October, I decided to proceed with a lease buyout, as my lease was set to expire on December 15. I visited Porsche Oakville Centre and informed the receptionist that I needed assistance from a finance staff member to process the lease buyout. The receptionist explained that the staff member in charge of my file was on maternity leave and said she would arrange for someone from the finance department to contact me. However, after two months, I did not receive any follow-up from the dealership. At the end of November, I contacted the dealership again, and Elena from the accounting department answered my call. She clearly and thoroughly explained the lease buyout process, arranged my safety inspection appointment immediately, provided detailed wire transfer instructions, and accurately scheduled the ownership pickup. Thanks to her support, the entire buyout process went smoothly and greatly relieved the stress I had been experiencing. Elena’s professionalism, problem-solving ability, and communication skills are highly appreciated. I would also like to thank Jeff from the safety inspection department for his detailed and helpful explanation of the vehicle’s condition, as well as Mr. McDonald at the front desk of the Service and Parts Department. My next Porsche will definitely be purchased from Porsche Oakville Centre. Thank you all and happy holidays!
This will be a long one, might be worth your read. The subject will be regarding issues I've just experienced at Policaro Porsche (Oakville Porsche Centre). In June of 2023 I purchased my 2013 Porsche Boxster (base) from a private seller. The car only had 26k on it. Excellent shape. I came to understand the car still had warranty through Porsche until 2025. Due to many factors including dealer prices, I've had it serviced by Mantis Autosport, known for their excellent reputation helping care for people's Porsches as well as they were PCA Approved. I've had a great experience dealing with Mantis. I've only taken my Boxster to the Oakville Porsche Centre for warranty issues. First was for a failed solenoid, which went smoothly but then (last year) for fault codes I was getting regarding my top. The car was checked and the techs found nothing wrong, or at least couldn't replicate the issue. This year, I drove my Boxster to Florida for the second time. The only issue I experienced was now increasing fault codes with the top. On Sept 17th I attended Oakville Porsche and spoke with service advisor Rob Taylor regarding the problems with my top. I also indicated that my warranty was expiring shortly and would like to extend it for 2 more yrs. Rob arranged for a shuttle and I was taken home. During the following weeks I was messaged by Rob and delays were apparently due to parts coming from Germany. In the meantime, Rob indicated that he could not extend my warranty due to an oil change that took place as part of the pre purchase inspection at Auto Evolution, as they didn't specifically list the products used. I thought "that sucks, but oh well." That's when things got a little weird. Rob called me perhaps a day later to say he'd spoken with his Manager and they were willing to "meet me halfway" to continue our relationship. They would allow me to purchase the warranty, but all of my servicing during the 2 year period would have to be performed by Oakville Porsche. When I asked for details of what would be expected of me I received a text indicating that firstly, I would need a major service. With the Warranty itself being 3600+ tax, that meant I would be paying out close to 7k before I got my car back. The following day I called and declined the arrangement, intending to continue my servicing with Mantis. October 9th I received a call from Rob telling me my Boxster was repaired, and ready for pick up. A shuttle was sent for me, and I excitedly collected my car, thinking all was good. Nope. Being a sunny day, I had put the top down leaving the dealership. At my first stop 45 mins later, I parked and ATTEMPTED to close the top. FAULT. I took a picture immediately and texted Rob. He said he was disappointed and asked if I'd like to bring it back. (!!!) I returned to the dealership on the 10th, and once again left it. On October 16th, Rob texted me indicating the repairs required were due to damage caused by clogged drain holes (which I had cleared just last year) and the repair would cost me $2600, now a full month since dropping the car off. Needless to say, I will not be returning. Read other reviews before you decide to visit.
