I know her for many years now, Fran takes 3 months to start looking at your documents, she is very poor in customer support! If you call her 100 times she might pickup your call once if you are lucky. If you need your mortgage processed on urgent basis then please don’t go to Fran. If you have 4 to 6 months time then you can go to her. Moreover, her interest rates much higher than banks(you will know the rate when you go to bank/lawyer to sign the paper work). Expect a lot of surprises. Fran also agrees with me! Good luck!

NOT RECOMMENDED. Positives - We got our mortgage completed. Negatives - Everything else. - We decided to go with a broker to apply to multiple lenders. Fran applied to 2, one of which the application was never completed. - Multiple mistakes were made and had to be rectified, including downpayment amount and names on the mortgage (we had wanted joint tenancy on the mortgage). - She does not answer phone calls or emails. Impossible to get a hold of and would take up to a week to answer or follow up on simple requests. - Made our purchase extremely stressful by holding up the process constantly by being unavailable. I made the mistake of not reading reviews. Client beware.

I learned that refinancing a mortgage with a new lender can be a lengthy process (especially these days as rates are increasing and everyone is looking to renegotiate) and one in which many aspects and intricacies of the deal are out of the hands of the broker and lie with the lender. My mortgage situation was complicated as I sought to combine mortgages on my rental home. Fran and Kelly-Anne essentially held my hand and walked me through it all. When there were inevitable hiccups and delays they worked tirelessly to get the deal done and to keep me informed as they did it. I appreciate them both and strongly recommend them.
