National Embroiders & Screen Printing

I brought silk duchess satin and metallic thread for a custom embroidery job. The final product was completed using satin (non-metallic) gold thread rather than metallic thread as expected. The stitching outcome also visibly compromised the silk fabric. I approved switching from copper to gold after an initial issue, but I was not shown or informed that the replacement thread would be non-metallic. The finished result does not reflect what was supplied or reasonably expected. This was specialty material, and proper stabilization and machine setup should have been addressed before accepting the job. Instead, responsibility was redirected toward the thread which was Robison-Anton and still wrapped in the manufacturer’s packing. The final charge also did not match the itemized yellow slip originally provided. The amount charged differed from what was outlined. I paid $167.27 for embroidery and supplied $112.38 silk, which is now unusable for its intended purpose. The owner has declined to provide compensation, and I am currently pursuing resolution through my card issuer. If using specialty fabric or metallic thread…or anything that you esteem as being special, ensure they know how to execute the work prior to accepting the job

Love this place and working with Zena! She has a real eye for what colors work well together and how to make our logo pop. She had a mock up overnight and my order done incredibly fast.
