Maura is exceptional. My husband and I moved into our first home in April and felt overwhelmed looking at our blank canvas. We had some conflicting ideas on how make our house a home, and when we turned to Maura she took the time to understand each of our style preferences and came up with designs that excited us both. The finished project is more beautiful and functional (we both work from home) than we could have ever imagined. Maura had to get creative with the quirks that come with a ~100 year old house while also working within our relatively tight budget. When possible, she found gems on Facebook Marketplace or discount stores that fit in beautifully with our new & higher-end pieces. She met us where we were and never made us feel like we had to sacrifice style in order to stay within our budget. She was professional, patient, and proactive. We will absolutely be turning to Maura for any future design projects. In the photos posted here, you see her creativity with making a home office and a comfortable living area in the same space. Absolutely brilliant!

I’ve worked with Maura on the design of several spaces in my home and she is wonderful! She has such a great eye for design, is incredibly talented, efficient, responsive, professional and easy to work with. Over the course of several projects, she has really learned my style and has started to nail the design on the first try, though if there’s ever an element of the design that I’m not sure of, she is always flexible in helping to source other alternatives until I’m 100% confident in it. I love that she always keeps budget and cost in mind as well - I’ve worked with other designers that don’t prioritize this and it can be a disappointing experience. Maura is happy to help on all types of projects from full service design of a space (like the powder room we are working on, or the living room she helped design from top to bottom - see attached photo) to small projects like helping to spruce up and accessorize a space with pops of color or additional layers of texture. I highly recommend working with Maura on any design needs!
