Nay Palad Hideaway

This review is written calmly, but with full responsibility.I had a paid reservation at Henann Resort Alona Beach. Due to force majeure (typhoon and ferry suspension), I followed the hotel’s own written instructions and arrived at the property expecting a reasonable solution.Instead, I was refused check-in at the front desk and left in the lobby with no confirmed accommodation, close to midnight.What made this experience unacceptable was not only the operational failure, but the behavior of the front desk management:The front desk manager and staff were uncoordinated with the reservation team.While I was standing at the counter, staff spoke in Filipino and made disparaging remarks, assuming I could not understand.This is deeply disrespectful, unprofessional, and completely inconsistent with the standards of an international resort.I was not aggressive. I was not unreasonable.I was a paying guest asking for clarity and execution of what your own hotel had already communicated by email.Being told to “book another hotel yourself” at midnight, after traveling and paying in full, is not hospitality.Allowing staff to mock or insult guests in the local language is not a “miscommunication” — it is a management failure.Henann positions itself as a premium brand.What I experienced at Henann Alona Beach was system breakdown + poor leadership at the front desk level.I am writing this review so that headquarters and senior management are aware:This is not about policy.This is about how guests are treated when problems arise.Very disappointing.😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞

Our stay at Henann Resort Alona Beach was truly exceptional. We travel frequently and usually stay only in 5-star resorts around the world, so we have high expectations when it comes to service, comfort, and cleanliness. This resort exceeded our expectations and is honestly one of the best we have experienced. The entire property is beautiful, perfectly maintained, and exceptionally clean. Cleanliness is very important to us, and here it was absolutely outstanding. The rooms are spacious, elegant, and spotless, with everything prepared with great care and attention to detail. What made our stay truly memorable was the incredible staff. Every member of the team was professional, friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. Their warm hospitality and willingness to help with anything made us feel welcome and cared for throughout our entire stay. The atmosphere of the resort is both luxurious and relaxing. The stunning pools, the beautiful beachfront, and the peaceful surroundings create the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a truly special vacation. Everything was absolutely perfect. We are very grateful for such an amazing experience and would highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Bohol. Without hesitation, we would love to return again.

We had a great stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it. The property is very clean, and both the bathrooms and showers are modern and well maintained. The service is excellent — the staff is extremely polite, attentive, and always willing to help. The gym is impressively well equipped, which was a great bonus during our stay. We visited close to Chinese New Year, so the hotel was quite full. The food follows a resort-style buffet format, with a wide variety of options to choose from. There is also an à la carte restaurant available, although we didn’t have the chance to try it. The pool area is beautiful, right by the beach, creating a perfect setting to relax. There is also an adults-only pool (16+), which is a nice option for those looking for a quieter atmosphere. Overall, a very pleasant experience.
