New Heights Church - East Vancouver Campus

The first time we attended there was a pastor with red hair, who chose to use the ENTIRE service duration pacing back and forth scolding the folks about tithing. Demanding you give above 50%, when possible. (You know you should do better) The energy was off. There was anger and greed on his face. I’ve never seen anything like it. No wonder the place was empty. Needless to say that was the last time we ever attended. It’s a cash grab, to funnel into their pockets and they don’t like when you don’t pay up. GO TO CROSSROADS. There is no path to eternity with this crowd.

VC is a place where you will instantly feel like part of a family. The staff is multi-talented and very authentic in who and what they bring to the table, which is a fantastic way to model after Jesus.

I enjoyed the time that I spent at this church, as limited as it was because of this pandemic. I was blessed by the Rooted class that I was a part of, as well as being able to be on the prayer team. I so badly wanted to be a part of SO much more than I was able to, due to covid. All the ministries outside of the church that I had previously worked with in the past were pretty much shut down; some even had to close their doors permanently 😥. I wish to thank those who have kept in contact with me. Your love and prayers are getting me through this tough time in my life healthwise. May the Lord's face shine upon you, and I pray that His perfect love, His peace that surpasses all understanding, and His joy overflowing, would saturate every fiber of your being, today, and forevermore, in the mighty sovereign holy name of Jesus 🙏🏼
