New Narrative Events

When my husband died unexpectedly in February, I knew that before too much time elapsed I wanted to hold a celebration of his life. Submerged in grief and feeling overwhelmed, I found New Narrative. From my first conversation with Christina, I appreciated her compassionate, professional, and non-pressured approach. I felt strongly that she wanted to help me create a tribute that would truly honour my husband’s life and legacy. Christina chunked all the details down to do-able steps and guided me through each one. She found the perfect venue; she coached me through how to use an online invitation program; she recommended florists and caterers; suggested and implemented creative ways to engage participants during the celebration; helped me with the wording to invite family and friends to speak; designed and printed an engaging program; and created a beautiful and memorable tribute slideshow. She was extraordinarily patient with my never-ending requests for changing the sequence of images and exactly matching the music to them. The day of the event was stress-free for me and my family, and many people there later commented to me on how lovely and unexpectedly creative the celebration was. Christina is so good at what she does. She is caring, warm, empathetic and very knowledgeable in what she does. We were able to brainstorm and come up with some ideas outside of the box to pay tribute to my boy's dad. She pays great attention to details and is very timely with her emails, phone calls and getting things set up correctly. Everything went off beautifully for the service. I couldn't be happier with the choice I made with New Narrative and Christina.

Christina was responsive, trustworthy, and she genuinely cared about going above and beyond for our special day. She took care of things that we didn't even think of and she made sure our guests had a flawless experience.
