Customer experiences
Carrefour in Paragon Mall is by far the worst Carrefour I’ve ever been to, and has completely ruined the Carrefour image that I used to know and trust. Almost every single time I shop here, I get overcharged or misled on pricing. I ended up checking my bills after each purchase to see if also this time i got overcharged, which usually is not a surprise to see that it happened again and again and again. Brief examples, once I was charged more than 100 AED instead of 6 AED for vegetables, once i bought an olive oil displayed 24 AED on the shelve, and got charged 38 AED. Just today, I picked up a fabric softener from an entire rack with a visible promotion at 20 AED, only to be charged 48.50 AED at checkout. When I questioned it, staff told me they have “different prices for the same product,” even though all the items were displayed together. That’s not a mistake, that’s a lame strategy and a disgrace. Every time, I end up wasting time arguing, waiting for refunds, or being given lame excuses: “Promotion is finished and we forgot to change the price" “Different prices for the same product” “Not enough staff to handle the necessary responsibilities ” This is nonsense, unacceptable, and feels intentional. I’ve never experienced this in any other Carrefour location or other hypermarket chain. On top of that, the cleanliness is SHOCKING. The entire market has been invaded by FLIES for months, especially around the fresh products section, but there is no action taken,it became a regular environment. Flies are all over the vegetables and fruits, and not only, making it impossible to trust the food’s safety. I’ve completely stopped buying any fresh products here because it is absolutely disgusting. I now prefer driving to other supermarkets, even if it’s less convenient, just to shop in a clean, safe and honest environment. If this continues and I catch one more misleading price tag,or the flying insects issue wont be sorted immediately, I’ll bring the issue directly to consumer rights authorities, because dealing with the staff here is a waste of time. If I were the Carrefour area manager, I would replace the store management immediately. This level of dishonesty and neglect is unacceptable and a disgrace to Carrefour’s reputation. And this entire experience makes me doubt of the entire Carrefour chain .
It's a supermarket Quite big but not the biggest, but not small. It has stuff and things you find in supermarkets, like food and cleaning things. Fresh fruit and veg, frozen things, fresh meat and fish.
Today marks exactly the 5th time , I always go there to get some food but no body attends to me and I have to start there for more than 30mins, regardless of other workers but they dont damn care
Amazing experience, the petting zoo was the best. I am looking forward to visiting again.
