Thank you SO MUCH to NextGen Electrical. The team was able to come on short notice to install a ceiling fan on a very high ceiling in our entry way. The service was exceptional; extremely kind and understanding customer service (thank you Sean!) and the journeyman and apprentice team were polite, professional, and efficient. 10/10

I just used Next Gen for a relatively straightforward electrical job. As a first-time homeowner in Kamloops, I was unaware of the service providers in this area. I first contacted a company called FOX, and they quoted me an extraordinarily high price for this straightforward job, which I rejected. Next Gen quoted me a much more reasonable price, which I immediately accepted. I will use NextGen for my future electrical work and recommend NextGen for my friends as well. Never, FOX!

TLDR; April 26, 2022, I had NextGen at my house to run network cables in the ceiling, they fell through my dining room ceiling and still haven't fixed it. They keep putting me off. On April 26, 2022, I had NextGen electricians in to run Cat6 network cable through the ceiling. During the install one of the electricians slipped and put a crack in our dining room ceiling. Nic contacted me right away and said that they would get it fixed for us. I paid my bills and waited for the repairs to take place, they never did. I've called multiple times over the last year and get told the same thing, they have me on their list of things to do but can't find anyone that wants to fix my ceiling. At one point they did have someone come over to look at the damage, they said that they could fix it, but would require redoing the whole ceiling and that they would send a quote to Nic; I never heard back about it. When I called Nic, he said the company didn't want to do the work. The feeling I get from NextGen is that they're hoping I just go away if they keep putting the repair off, which I have. I give up. If you do decide to go with NextGen for any work be careful. Their work was good, but if things go wrong like they did for me you could get stuck for thousands of dollars you hadn't budgeted for. I am so impressed from start to finish they were awesome My wife and I bought our first house and it was a fixer upper. Some of these fixes were well beyond our ability to fix, so we called a few contractors and some of the contractors we had come to our house made us feel both uncomfortable with them and our decision to buy a house that needed this many repairs. Nick came in, was confident he could help us and reassured us that the fix wasn't to bad and he had his crew start work the next week. The crew that came to work on our house was amazing. Jason and Nick were helpful, professional and all around great guys. Jason on multiple occasions helped me with things I didn't know and what was better was he provided regular updates on his status. I look forward to hiring them again for my next electrical project. Thank you.
