I contacted NFU Mutual to inform them when I would be collecting my new car. After providing a quote for the Jaguar, they confirmed the date and time of collection. I thought the quote seemed low but didn’t question it. Four weeks later, I called NFU Mutual only to discover my previous calls were handled by an outsourced company and that I had been driving a £30,000 car without valid insurance. There was no apology—just blame placed elsewhere. Very disappointing. I strongly advise against using NFU Mutual car insurance or the Basingstoke
We highly recommend NFU, they really helped us out with our home insurance needs. And it was refreshing to be able to have a single point of contact, that was knowledgeable and looked after us, rather than the usual 'call centre" style customer service. Really happy with the cover we got and how we were dealt with :)
What a refreshing change from the usual monotonous chore of getting a quote and taking out insurance. From the very start Anna S was absolutely fantastic, a pleasure to talk to, nothing was a problem, everything arranged and sorted easily, A pleasure doing business with the NFU and especially Anna, she deserves a bonus and a pay rise! i will now look to insure my other vehicles, house etc. when the renewals come through. Definately the best insurance company I have ever dealt with, you can speak to real people too which is a bonus. Did I mention Anna deserves a pay rise ;-)
