I am not even a huge Nintendo fan but was blown away by the selection! There were also adorable character statues throughout the entire store to signify each franchise’s section. I thought the blind boxes were very cute and had lots of unique merchandise. A lot of other practical items too that I have not seen at stores in my country. Definitely one of the highlights of this floor.

Fun place for Nintendo lovers. As adults we know better that it’s mainly overpriced products. But nonetheless nice to relive back some of the childhood gaming memories. Almost bought a switch 2 here because of all the pokemon memories!

Nintendo Tokyo is a must-visit for any fan of the brand, whether you grew up with a Game Boy in your pocket or just discovered the magic of Mario and Zelda more recently. Located in the stylish Shibuya Parco shopping complex, the store is sleek, colorful, and buzzing with the kind of playful energy you’d expect from a company that has defined generations of gaming. As soon as you step off the escalator, you're greeted with giant character statues, game music playing overhead, and a steady stream of visitors who are just as excited to be there as you are. The layout is spacious and easy to navigate, with well-organized sections for various franchises—Mario, Splatoon, Animal Crossing, Zelda, Pikmin, and more. It’s not just a store—it really feels like you’re walking into a celebration of Nintendo’s legacy. The merchandise is top-tier. Plushies, apparel, stationery, home goods, exclusive items—you name it. There are things here you won’t find outside Japan, which makes browsing feel like a treasure hunt. Whether you're hunting for a cool souvenir or just want to see the incredible creativity on display, it’s easy to get swept up. I ended up spending more time than I expected just admiring how beautifully everything was designed. Staff were friendly and efficient, even with the crowds. Like many popular spots in Tokyo, it does get busy, so you might want to come right when it opens if you want a quieter experience. Still, the line moves quickly, and the store never feels overwhelming. What really stood out was the attention to detail—not just in the products, but in the store itself. The walls are filled with vibrant art, display cases showcase rare items, and there’s a genuine sense of joy in the atmosphere. It’s not flashy or overdone—it’s just pure Nintendo charm, done right. Even if you’re not planning to buy anything, it’s absolutely worth a visit. It’s a great stop whether you're in Shibuya for shopping, sightseeing, or just want a dose of gaming nostalgia brought to life. A place where childhood memories and modern design meet perfectly.

As a huge Nintendo fan I can happily say visiting Nintendo Tokyo was a lifetime highlight. There is so much incredible merch exclusive to Japan, I didn't really expect to find too much cool stuff, boy was I wrong. Also the prices are pretty reasonable, I think they are fair. They have an awesome sound track in the store that cycled through, the vibe is just awesome, everyone is stoked and the workers today were all smiles and bows. Nintendo must be making a killing off this store 😂 Items definitely do get sold out, I managed to get the last Animal crossings jacket, very lucky for me.

Nintendo Tokyo is a hobby store.
