Best Indian food in the town. This place serves very authentic Indian food. Also with a fusion touch in some of their items. The chef in the kitchen must be a very passionate guy who gives his best. The guys at the front ensure the tables and service is taken care of. One of the best places i have tasted authentic Indian food outside of India. Highly recommended.

We were looking for something different this evening, not wanting a pub or anything fried and we were so happy to have found On the Rocks. Service was outstanding, the vibe is casual, and the food? 🤌🏼 I think my husband almost cried when he took his first bite of the lamb curry. The portions are perfectly sized and the flavors are outstanding. The naan was out of this world. We will try and come back at some point during the remainder of our trip.

Amazing tasting food. Loved the butter chicken burger with their own seasoned fries. Service was fast and friendly but had to ask twice for water. Overall, we were happy. But could use an air conditioner as it was supper hot there to really enjoy the atmosphere. Thank You.

💯 Halal Chicken Is On Point! 👌 My wife and I were trying different restaurants here in St. John's Newfoundland and we came across On The Rocks. We decided to try it out, upon entering we were delighted to a very atmospheric restaurant. When we asked about the meat, they said it was Halal. The meat itself is from Mina Halal Meat which sealed the deal for us 🍖 We ordered the chicken biryani, butter chicken with garlic naan. Everything was absolutely delicious 😍 food was cooked fresh, well portioned and seasoned. Honestly my wife and I were so surprised by how good it was! 😱 On top of which the pricing for the meals was not bad at all! Overall On The Rocks is an exceptional restaurant serving much variety and good vibes! 👏 Would highly recommend!
