Our family had an absolutely incredible dining experience at this restaurant! From start to finish, everything was perfect—Michelin star quality and truly unique. We opted for the chef’s menu, a fixed-price experience that included four appetizers, four entrées, and three desserts. Each dish was more delicious than the last, showcasing impeccable flavors, creativity, and top-notch ingredients. The balance of textures and tastes made every bite unforgettable. Beyond the exceptional food, the service was perfect—attentive, knowledgeable, and warm. This is a must-visit for anyone looking for an extraordinary culinary experience in San Francisco. Highly recommended!
Great service, atmosphere, drinks and apps. Very creative menu with good amount of food with the tasting menu. My only critique was that the 2/3 of the entrees (at least those served with the tasting menu), were not particularly enjoyable. The swordfish katsu with some sort of squash based sauce particularly felt like a swing and a miss. Overall, would definitely recommend, but maybe ask if you can switch out the swordfish on the tasting menu.
Great experience that includes neither yachts nor a club per se but the menu theme is sort of phonetically related to what rhymes with Liholiho, Lilo, the orphaned Hawaiian girl who lives with her sister, Nani, and befriends an alien who actually is reminiscent of a blue version of Mike Wazowski in that they both have big chompers. For a group of three people 4-5 appetizers and one main was the perfect amount of food to share and get a chance to get a range of tastes from the menu. Chips and dip come out quickly and are a very tasty starter with your drinks. Ordered three of the duck liver mousse but in hindsight would be better to order one and slice it into three small bites to share as the flavor of the banana bread and mousse may not be for everyone. Red endive salad was refreshing. Swordfish katsu was a fulfilling fried fillet to share with a very subdued but comforting and interesting almost paste like curry. Their house made Spam fried rice was a good addition to add a bit of heft to the meal without being overly salty and heavy as some spam and kimchi rice combinations tend to be. Overall great attentive service, relaxed vibe, and clean food.
