After 10 years and four children attending this school, I can confidently say that I would never repeat the experience. Instead of improving over time, things have only gotten worse. The school is so focused on its business model that it forgets what truly matters: the children and their families. The traffic and parking situation has remained a nightmare, with little to no effort made to address it. Students who struggle academically receive minimal support, and when the school anticipates that they might fail, they are quietly encouraged to leave—not for their own benefit, but simply to protect the school's statistics. Beyond academics, the way the school markets itself is impressive, but sadly, the reality does not match the image they sell. Cases of bullying and other serious issues are addressed once—if at all—and then quickly forgotten. The well-being of the students seems to be an afterthought rather than a priority. It is truly disheartening to realize that I entrusted my children’s education to an institution that operates more like a profit-driven business than a place of learning and growth. What a shame.
I have never encountered such a poorly managed school in all my years of dealing with educational institutions. I’ve phoned over six times trying to schedule a tour, and each time, I was either ignored, dismissed, or given some excuse. The admissions team is utterly incompetent and rude, showing a complete lack of professionalism and respect. It’s shocking how a school that claims to care about children can treat prospective parents with such disregard. Despite my multiple attempts to book a tour, they made no effort to accommodate me, showing no interest in engaging with someone genuinely considering their school. Their dismissive attitude made it clear that they don’t care about parents or their children. I wouldn’t trust this school with my child’s education, let alone even consider enrolling them. If this is how they handle prospective parents, I can’t imagine how they manage once children are actually enrolled. I’ve been completely put off and would never recommend this school to anyone. Save your time and energy—look elsewhere for a school that actually values communication and respect.
Khalid loves going to school. And that’s the most important point. Started from FS1 - hoping NAS keeps developing its education and doesn’t stop including novel ways of learning. Aiming to see its kids always being at the top of this ever changing worlds situation.
I had the unfortunate experience of interacting with students from Nord Anglia International School Dubai during their visit to Japan. Despite being accompanied by their teachers, the students—and the teachers themselves—demonstrated a sense of entitlement, a lack of respect for Japanese culture, and a disregard for rules. Their disruptive behavior caused distress not only to those directly interacting with them but also to everyone around them, including Japanese nationals and other visitors. It is both unsurprising and deeply disappointing that the conduct of students and teachers from Nord Anglia International School Dubai contributes to the reluctance of some places in Japan to welcome foreign visitors. Their behavior not only tarnishes the reputation of their school and home countries but also widens the cultural divide—a troubling reality in the 21st century, when fostering mutual understanding and respect should be paramount. Their selfish actions benefit neither the country they are visiting nor the quality of their own education. It is my sincere hope that Nord Anglia International School Dubai reevaluates its approach to international trips, invests in better-prepared teachers, and prioritizes the cultural education of its students. To the parents of these students: you are wasting your money on an institution that fails to instill the most basic values of respect and decency.
