Spoke to this pharmacy three times this week to ensure that my son's prescriptions were being filled for three months. Even after talking to the girl today, before I went to pick them up I confirmed three months. Get home to find out one is three months and the other is just for one month. Called and was told too bad, I can come back in a month, pay another filling fee and get more. UPDATE TO OWNERS RESPONSE - I called on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, to have his prescriptions refilled. The female I spoke with told me that I needed to call the Dr his prescriptions were out and they needed to send new ones. At that time we discussed the usual 3mth refills and I was told no problem when they get the scripts. Called the Dr and was told the pharmacy had to fax the request to them. I called the pharmacy back and let them know what they needed to do and that I'd like both filled for the 3 mths. I called back on Thursday to see if they were ready and that they were 3mths. The female I spoke with assured me they were. So, there was no request to fill a prescription in July by me or my son's doctors and definitely not for one month as we've never done one month. Sounds like they also could have security issues as well. Ps, if I filled the prescription in July and it hasn't been a month then how did I get another month yesterday? Also, as the prescriptions are always filled together and always for 3 mths why would I only fill one month of one script? And yes, I was told too bad and to come back in another month to pay another fee and pick up another month. I'd need to be fast as I'm not sure who got the prescription from July!

I went to pick up a free rapid test kit but they have said they are out of the free ones but are selling single test kits for $20. They are in plastic Ziploc bags too so this is definitely not right. Update, this was indeed illegal to sell individual test kits. Anything for the owner to make a profit I guess...

The staff are so nice, but the owner or whoever the guy is in charge is shady and rude to his staff. I could hear him yelling at an employee in the back of the store. The things he was saying were totally unacceptable and I hope they file a complaint with the labour board. I feel bad for the staff if they have to put up with this jerk on a daily basis. He should know that they are the only thing keeping him in business. I will never shop any Guardian Drugs in North Bay again due to this.
