Jerry & Walt’s Auto Repair in Eugene assisted me in resolving multiple problems with my vehicle. I asked for assistance in diagnosing engine issues relative to fuel injection and ignition. The vehicle would stall at low idle, and not perform well. The troubleshooting analysis they performed identified potential complications. I requested an overall assessment of the vehicle and received a 17 page report analysis of status, recommendations and priorities. I was truly impressed with the diagnostic report, which allowed me to understand and issue corrective actions to resolve and restore the performance and safety of the vehicle. The communication with the staff was very good and allowed me to reach my goals with my 1994 Suzuki, which was a special project. Broken and Broke. Trusting a new shop is hard. Especially with an older vehicle they could have taken me for a ride. And they did. Back to my house, where I waited anxiously for the horror show to begin. I know how it can go. It starts with a phone call and goes downhill from there, no brakes, no bottom to the costly hill your trusted mechanic is taking you down. Except when the phone rang this time, it was like a breath of fresh air. The man on tge other end had nothing but good news. By 4pm my vehicle was ready. At the shop the news got tear worthy as they proceeded to tell me that by doing a little further exploring into my problem they discovered 2 routes they could take. The road they took saved me a refrigerator full of food, literally. I couldn't help but shed some tears of joy and gratitude and an overwhelming feeling of relief because that money they saved me was giant in my little world. I have four children, 3 young ones school aged and I'm always broke and something is inevitably broken. Thank you for not taking me for a ride. Thank you for your outstanding service, for taking the extra time to try and make a difference in someone's life. That was money I could not make up or get back.
