This was once a great mall but like so many malls, they are apparent dinosaurs. Still a couple great anchors remain. Von Maur still has that grand old ambiance. Hope they can hang on. Lots of really small shops but many empty spaces.

Walkabout one of the last dying malls in America. In all seriousness, the mall still has some fun stuff to do. Best of all, offers reprieve from the outside environment. Rain, snow, heat, or cold, the mall offers a climate controlled place to go eat, walk, and hang out with friends. The food court still offers quite the selection of foods, and has plenty of seating to enjoy it. The mall staff do a decent job keeping the area clean and welcoming. The "core" stores at the mall are no longer what they once were, and oftentimes aren't the main reason for visits anymore (at least in my experience). The small mom and pop stores offer much more variety, quality, and reasonable prices. Long gone are the days where malls thrived and we're THE spot to hang out. Yet still there is much to explore and memories to be made here. Enjoy it while it is still available.

North Park remains a joy to visit to, even as we witness the seemingly inevitable demise of third places. I especially enjoy being able to go to a bookstore again after living a place that had its Barnes and Noble close down. Is it a perfect experience that really merits of a perfect 5 stars? I don't know. Will we miss it if it ever goes away? I would hope so. Support your brick and mortal stores. Go to the mall.

Very big nice mall with lots of stores and eateries to choose from. Something for everyone. We visited hot topic and the staff was very helpful and attentive.
