I was ignoring not feeling well for several weeks went into a store in Dumont and was recommended to North Shore since you could walk in. I decided to finally take care of myself. The staff was 10 times above average friendly, quick knowledgeable.. There was no waiting. The doctor came right in told her all my symptoms took a couple tests and before I could get home, my prescriptions were already ready to be picked up and a zero co-pay, which I haven’t heard that in years. I highly recommend North Shore!

My son had an appointment for 3pm for a sports physical.... we sat in the waiting room for 2 hours before he was even called back to an exam room. Patients with appts at 4pm were coming in and being seen before us, non emergent walk ins were coming in, being seen and leaving before he was even looked at!! I was told they were having a busy day and Apologized to for the wait. If it's so busy I don't understand how a non emergent walk in was seen before a scheduled appt. Almost seems as though we could have canceled the appointment and registered as a walk in to be seen sooner. Ill give 2 stars because Once we were seen his appt took 15 minutes from start to finish and the receptionistwas sweet.....outside of that, it was absolutely ridiculous to wait that long for a simple sports physical.

Phone visit. Love them! No exposure to sick folks in the waiting room, get them sooner than in person. I called for an appt. Cuz my consultants need approval every 3 months to get my meds. Got appt. Same day with NP. Since not having problems it was over in about 10 min. My meds available again! Cost with insurance, 5 bucks. Can’t beat that with a stick!
