We stayed at the resort for two days with our family and had an absolutely phenomenal experience from start to finish. We arrived just before a major ice storm and were graciously allowed to check in four hours early, which immediately set the tone for how accommodating and kind the staff are. Every single person we encountered was friendly and genuinely welcoming. A special thank-you to Angel and Ben, who went above and beyond serving our party of 11 — not a single error, all while maintaining such a warm and positive attitude. They were also exceptionally kind and patient with the children during meals, which made dining such a relaxed and enjoyable experience for our whole family. The cleanliness of the hotel and amenities was exceptional. There was so much for the children to enjoy, including cookie decorating, the zoo experience, swimming pool and slide, mini golf, and the arcade — they were happily entertained the entire stay. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, and seeing a bald eagle through the large dining room windows was such a special and unexpected moment. This trip meant a great deal to our family. It gave us a truly lovely, relaxing break between the holidays, and every detail contributed to making it memorable. We can’t recommend this resort highly enough and are so grateful to the wonderful staff who made our stay so special.

While I did not stay at the hotel I did visit a room at the hotel. The room and corridor appeared well kept and were clean. The hockey facilities were really nice. They have two arenas that are well maintained and the hockey tournament was professionally managed with all games beginning at the right time. There is plenty of parking While everything is of high quality the room charges per night also reflect premium dollars.

We took our kids (ages 3, 6 and 5 months) here for New Year’s Eve since we wanted a getaway without actually going too far. They advertised a bunch of activities going on for the kids so we thought it would be a good way to make everyone happy. The rooms are standard, 2 beds, a small washroom (tub/shower) but they had a mini fridge and I can’t remember if there was a microwave or not. The staff was great, very friendly, especially the servers in the restaurant. Shoutout to Cam for working New Year’s Eve dinner with an arm in a sling! Dinner was pre-purchase and pre-pay with automatic gratuity which is fine but I wasn’t that impressed with the food. We pre-selected our meals but service still took over 2 hours! Mini golf was free which was nice and the course is really cool and interesting. There is an arcade but it only takes loonies, ATM on site. Wish we’d known before we went down because it was a bit of a trek accessing some parts of the resort with a stroller (or wheelchair). You need to call to have someone meet you at the accessibility entrance and take a few elevators to get anywhere. Not a big deal but did kind of feel like an inconvenience. The property is much bigger than I had anticipated. The pool is great! Water temp was a bit chilly for my liking but that’s personal preference. In order to go on the water slide you need to pass a little swimming test. There is also a hot tub! My only “complaint” was there wasn’t a New Year’s Eve countdown for the kids at like 9:00. For a resort catering to children and families (face painting, axe throwing inflatables, cotton candy, Olaf walking around at dinner) it would have been nice if they had something early for the kids to celebrate. There was also skating available in their ice rink the next day but not a single employee around to ask any questions (we wanted a skate aid for our 3 year old). Eventually I found someone and they did have skate aids but it was towards the end of our time there. Overall we had a great time and the resort and rooms were clean and the staff was lovely but like anything there is always room for improvement!

Was here for a wedding. The hotel beds are terrible! They are not comfortable at all! Very hard. Felt like bricks were holding the mattress up. Also the beds are doubles not queens! View from the room looking out to the golf course was beautiful. Rooms were clean. Also would have been nice to have bottles of water in the rooms, we called down and they said they don’t do that but we can buy them at the vending machines. We paid $630 for 2 nights and for that amount I think the rooms should be better. The resort was packed! 3 Hockey tournaments and 2 big weddings. I was disappointed, definitely feels like this resort should be better for the price. Lots of stairs. Elevators are slow. Food was okay.
