I recently reached out to several companies to get an estimate on having my driveway redone after I was taken advantage of by someone who I paid to reseal my driveway and they ruined it. After getting several estimates I went with Dan Dooley's estimate from NWI Asphalt. I signed a contract and thought I’m getting my driveway done. From the beginning he didn’t answer my phone calls or emails after I signed the contract. After begging I finally received a date of July 23rd to do my driveway. I finally realized at around noon that no one was coming. I kept calling and calling and my calls were ignored. I finally received an email saying that because of all the rain that he was behind on another job that he made clear was more important than mine.I understand things happen but to not even call me to say they weren’t coming was unprofessional. It is now August 6th and I haven’t received any communication from him in regards to my driveway. So I’m assuming he has decided not to do it even though there is a contract. So now I’m left scrambling trying to find someone else to get it done. I’ve never in my life dealt with a company that behaved so unprofessional. Lesson learned is the lowest estimate is not always the best.
