I’ve been taking my cat Mocha to Oak Bay Pet Clinic ever since I adopted him, and I honestly couldn’t be more grateful for the care he’s received. We’ve had to visit several times because Mocha had a few issues and injuries, and every single time the team there has been incredibly patient, kind, and genuinely caring. Anna, the receptionist, is always so nice and helpful. She’s been amazing with advice, follow-ups, and answering all my emails and phone calls. Jasmine has also been such a big help with vet support in the back, and Lucy as well — they’ve all been wonderful every time we visited. Dr. Fujda examined Mocha with so much patience and gentle, precise care. You can tell he truly pays attention and cares about his patients. It made a huge difference for me to see how carefully he handled Mocha, especially during the tougher visits. I’ve had to follow up multiple times regarding Mocha’s condition, and each time I felt completely supported by the whole team. I highly recommend Occupy Pet Clinic. They’ve been a huge comfort to me and an incredible help to Mocha.

Update: I received a person email from Dr. Dudzic that differs from her response here trying to coerce me into deleting my review in exchange for a short consultation. This is inappropriate and unethical. Do not book an appointment with this vet/behaviourist (aka kindheart) especially if you have sport dogs. I took my 10 year old GSDxBC mix (retired agility dog) to this office to help with worsening anxiety. The office had a large dog wandering around freely. That was my first red flag. A behaviour vet should not have a wandering dog due to potential aggressive/reactive dogs that come into the office seeking help. Secondly, Dr. Dudzic uses fear to control her clients. She attempted to convince me my dog has pancreatitis from raw food (she is against raw feeding) even though she just had a pancreas specific blood test. As an owner of sport dogs, I have knowledge of body language and years of watching my dogs to help reduce stress. Dr Dudzic made me feel unheard and still spoke about how i need to pay attention to her body language.... which is constantly being watched.... The only thing Dr Dudzic did right was prescribe cartophen (have been asking about it), but to get it Shiloh had to be examined. Instead of asking me to get Shiloh to stand, Dr Dudzic cornered Shiloh and was leaning over her while she was laying down to listen to her heart/breath sounds. While doing this the vet tech was blocking her from the front. Shiloh was visibly stressed and this was not very mindful of anxious/stressed dogs. She also tried to diagnose my other dog with anxiety without ever meeting him. Tried to push SSRI's for him and i firmly declined any advice for him due to NOT having anxiety and the appointment was not for him. Finally, this clinic would not return messages with my regular vet office to take over the cartrophen prescription. They attempted to call for a week with no answer. This is the worst vet i have ever been to and will never go to again.

A truly wonderful experience! Dr. Dudzic is an exceptional professional. She is so caring, patient with my dog, and always takes time to listen. Her explanations are clear and helpful, and her genuine dedication shines through. I couldn't be happier with the team!

I had some reservations about how they'd handle my large dog, but the vet and staff were fantastic and completely at ease with him. My buddy is recovering well, and we plan on coming back for all his future wellness visits.
