Tax Advisor, Fay Welcome, was so kind and helpful in assisting me with correspondence to the IRS after they sent notice that fees were not paid. The fees were paid on time and she wrote a letter with supporting documentation. I appreciated her professionalism and compassion (taxes were for a family member who had passed away). Natalia completed our original return and was great, also!

This location noted on my taxes that state taxes were being paid via credit card, but then didn't facilitate the payment from their office to actually pay them. I got a late notice from the state, which in turn cost me additional fees and penalties. *In response to the "owner". I already called the number prior to leaving my review, and was told I would need to set up an appointment for me to go to your office and go through all of this with someone in person. That is not a convenient resolution for me to have to blow more of my time by either taking off work, or wasting my limited weekend. The bottom line is this: H&R Block are supposed to be tax "specialists". People need to be able to trust you to do their taxes properly, and facilitate payments on time on their behalf. You have broken that trust.

Crazy thing happened today, I was taking my son to his doctors appointment and didn’t realize they shut the doors for lunch. I came into this office to stand for 5 min since it is pretty cold outside for a 3 month old, and far more work to put him back in the car accross the parking lot. My son was not making a noise but the manager Lissette came out of her office to tell me that I needed to go outside in the cold and wait, that I cannot wait inside the office. When I addressed that she was being rude about having a baby stay out in the cold she walked away into her office and ignored what I had to say. Also I will say I am a loyal customer to block advisors and used to be an office manager for three offices for the company so I know this is not what the company stands for, however this has definitely put a sour taste in my mouth to even use this company this upcoming tax season!

Fay Welcome is very nice to work with and explains everything perfectly. I did have to wait a long time to be seen because the appointment in front of me involved a couple who I think were filing separately. You should plan on a longer appointment length of time for those kinds of appointments.
