Every time we looked at a house, we knew that we wouldn’t be talked into buying something that we didn’t like, or a house with major flaws that would cost thousands to fix. Matt and Dave always made sure to point out any existing issues with the house and gave us rough estimates for potential repairs. As a first time homebuyer you absolutely can't go wrong with them! They were exactly what we were looking for in a real estate agency. Honest, super friendly, supportive, and very reliable!

Unprofessional Experience with Blake Johnson (Oakland Real Estate Group) We recently submitted an offer through our agent on a property listed by Blake Johnson of Oakland Real Estate Group, and the experience was incredibly disappointing. Despite multiple attempts from our agent to follow up, Blake never responded—not a call, not an email, not even a simple acknowledgment of our offer. There was absolutely no communication from him throughout the process, and then the property suddenly showed up as “pending.” We were never informed that our offer wasn’t accepted or even given the courtesy of a response. This kind of unprofessional behavior reflects poorly on both the agent and the brokerage. Buyers deserve clear, timely communication—especially when making serious offers. I wouldn’t recommend working with Blake Johnson if you’re expecting a responsive and respectful process.
