I live in Richmond London and have been to Pembroke many times as our family has a holiday home near by. I was driving around with my son trying to find a good place to eat. We stopped in Pembroke to check online after driving around for over an hour when I noticed the Kings Hotel. If I am honest I did not expect much looking at the front of the hotel but popped in to see how it looked inside. The staff were extremely helpful so we decided to give it a try. Wow the food was amazing, everything we both had just tasted fantastic, no nonsense just great quality food. The service was excellent, I can’t recommend this place enough if you want great quality food and service. I only wish I had tried it sooner . It is 500 yrs old and the curb side appeal does not do it justice Definitely recommend this place for food. I seldom leave reviews but felt I really should do so after such a nice meal Thank you !!

We was a walk in on a Sunday afternoon and was seated straight away. I had the beef brisket and the wife had the lamb both looked and tasted very n8ce indeed. The wife had a dessert sadly I had no space after my dinner for more food, the portions was very good. Service was quick and polite no much more you could ask for really. Clean tidy and comfortable.

Staff were decent. The special, Plaice with mussels sauce, tender stem broccoli with dauphinoins potato... Fish didn't seem fresh by the smell of it and the potatoes portion was tiny. 6 quid more expensive than everything else. I had the pie with homemade chips at 20 quid. I love my pies and it was ok apart from the portion size. The homemade chips must have been done by Ronald Macdonald. I expected decent chips, not fries. And Ronald does twice as many! I was looking forward to this meal as it seemed to be the most expensive meal in town. Left feeling sad and quite peckish.

Spend 2 Nights here. Staff is super helpful, rooms are decent and very clean! Had some good sleep here and the breakfast is also good. You can get to explore tenby in 20 Minutes by Train or the national coastao Park. Good Place!!
