Clare Huggettabsolutely delicious food - (the lobster, the venison broth and bread and the pumpkin desert were all standouts for me)and great wine pairings ( the dark heavy fruity red paired with the venison and all the light desert wines ) all enhanced by fantastic service from Nick who knew about each course and the wines and made us feel very welcome. id really recommend this place - and will definitely be back
Imp AdventuresNot really blown away by the choice of dishes or matching wines. If your chef only has to prepare 7 x repeat dishes every day I’d expect these to be adventurous and memorable with a touch of pazzaz. Serving a mini loaf of dull bread and butter was a lazy cop out and not fitting for a costly tasting menu. The majority of food and wine was ok and tasty if a little boring. The worst crime was charging 12.5% discretionary tip! That was an extra £40 on top for us. I removed it and paid what I thought was appropriate for a meal for two.

MpThis was a real treat for us so had high hopes, we were not disappointed! We were made to feel extremely welcome and the service was impeccable. The food and drink was amazing and pitched just right in terms of not being too overbearing with flavours, but also imaginitive. We came away thoroughly satisfied and was well worth the step up up over and above a "normal" restaurant.
