First, the workers were great. They were nice and also helpful. Second, the yarns were beautiful and there was a good selection. I also enjoyed the bits and bobs and knitting books. The only complaint (and I actually understand) was the sale selection was small and not greatly discounted. Otherwise, super cute shop.
Several years ago, I purchased Neighborhood Fiber Co. Organic Studio DK for a sweater project. It's taken me a bit to find the right pattern and I found myself a bit short to finish the sleeves of this now reworked garment. The LYS where I purchased the yarn in NJ is no longer there and I scoured the internet for a lifeline. Knit Dallas processed my one skein order immediately and shipped it out within a day. I'm delighted for the exceptional service and looking forward to completing my project later this week. Thank you so much!
I am overdue in telling everyone how amazing this shop is. The staff is knowledgeable, super friendly, and more helpful than I could ever expect. They are patient with me as a new knitter and the classes have been incredible. The community of knitters who come to the store are all lovely people and I am so lucky to have this gem in my neighborhood but let’s be honest, I would drive any distance to go to Knit Dallas. Do yourself a favor, take up knitting and come to Knit Dallas, it’s the best!
