I don’t write unfavorable reviews often, but I do want to make sure that those going after me are aware. The wait time is LONG. I waited nearly an hour before I decided to cancel my appointment. The young lady at the front desk was really sweet and understanding and assured me that the doctor doesn’t rush her patients, and would happily spend an hour on me as well when it was my turn. However, I was also informed that there was still one more patient before me, so all that told me was, I would probably be waiting another hour. I paid for the required minimum parking time (two hours) and realize now, that I probably would’ve had to extend it The office was clean and quiet and easy to find, so just make sure you have the time to wait and are also prepared to spend $$ on parking extensions if needed

My initial review was glowing, but I wanted to just come back and update honestly and fairly. Dr. Brayboy was amazing — after being misdiagnosed multiple times by different providers at urgent care in Piedmont emergency, I was finally diagnosed correctly and started treatment quickly. I truly believe she saved my life .! The office is well-organized during visits , and I still come here for other services, including seeing my primary doctor. My only complaint is that I had an insane amount of difficulty communicating with the office when issues came up with my treatment plan and my portal does not work, so just I ended up having to go to another location. Overall, it’s a good office, but communication could be improved during follow-up or when concerns arise.

The service provided at this location has greatly improved!! The front desk staff Erica is very kind and warm as you'd expect from a healthcare facility and the nurses are also very friendly. As a 2-year patient I am thrilled to see the changes made to improve this office. The Doctors have always provided great care and now the other staff are also aligned! I highly recommend Dr Brayboy and Dr Akenji.

Dr. Akenji is a great doctor. She takes a whole-person approach to care and actively includes me in making decisions about next steps and long-term plans. She makes me feel comfortable and never shames me for any struggles I am having. She understands my challenges and meets them with compassion, not criticism. Do yourself a favor and book an appointment with her so that you can have peace of mind.
