Five stars from start to finish. I’m new to crime (jokes), so when I got a felony charge for ___ (something stupid). I’ve called a few spots to get an idea how the lawyer world worked, and after a solid 3 calls + some research of my own, I had a rough idea of what I was dealing with and was waiting to talk to someone who shot me straight vs going through this - give us your data and we will call you later. Felt like a brokerage that researched who you were and dished you a price with commission. Anyway, I saw David A. Black as one of the top rated ones, so I called him after calling the ones i had little to no interest in just to educate myself a little better. Well, the rest is history. It took one call with David and he shot me straight on what I was facing and the possible outcomes. All the data I had acquired he just nailed it vs using emotion like the others tried. I’m a salesman, and their sales guys were amateurs. I was able to speak with David directly, get a rough quote and what to expect on the spot, and he got the job done. Although our interaction was limited since there was no need to be so active on the case, the little we had was enjoyable, he was fun (professional), and I enjoyed working with him.
