She went to work and at the end of the day, my apartment was ready for me to relax and enjoy. Lynn will be returning to help me with my craft room. That room requires a miracle worker! Who knew organizing could be healing and empowering? Lynne is a pleasure to work with, and she has a real gift! After moving with an infant, my executive functioning was not functioning from overwhelm. I found it nearly impossible to get things organized. It felt like we were living in chaos, and I had the impulse to just get rid of everything and become a “minimalist.” Thankfully I found Lynne, who assured me that this was stress talking. Lynne did a walkthrough with us and then helped us room-by-room, closet-by-closet. Lynne has a masterfully calming presence and knows how to contain the overwhelm. She asks the right questions and listens compassionately; she has sound methods for making decisions on what to hold on to or let go of, without putting pressure. After a day of working with her I would find myself inspired to take next steps myself between our sessions. I got some sanity back! We ended up deciding to move again, but the process this time was infinitely easier because we had already sorted through most of our things with Lynne, and she knew where/how to direct donations. Now that we’ve moved into our new place we’ve managed to feel settled within a a couple of weeks—I know I can apply the techniques Lynne taught me for life. We are very glad we decided to work with her last year and would recommend her to anyone looking for “transformation through organization” (Lynne’s motto/specialty)!
