EDIT June 2025. Removing massage therapist name as it has reportedly affected customer reach. A Appreciate reach out my management for a reduced fee session with alternate therapist for better experience, though this is not something I am moving forward with updated the overall rating. —— I attended this clinic for a massage. I liked the ease of booking online. And efficient communication of receipt and billing the next day by admin. Weekend availability was also appreciated. Facility was clean. The session experience itself was not great. The therapist could improve communication - he did not introduce himself by name or identify himself as a massage therapist. There was limited conversation around the treatment. I am a regulated health provider and did point the communication concerns directly with the provider. I bring it up to inform others- I knew what massage entailed and even though was uncomfortable with the lack of communication detail, I already have a good understanding of the risks/ benefits of massage and the process of disrobing etc. but others may not and it is part of being a regulated provider to routinely communicate these aspects with patients. Beyond that it just creates an awkwardness to have no intro beyond an hello, how are you, and just be asked “ so how can I help” and “okay we will work those areas” and “ anything else?” With no other direction or detail. The massage technique while not technically wrong or harmful - was not a good experience personally. It was the first time a massage treatment did not feel relaxing in anyway and I believe it is due to a technique of short, quick, repetitive movements and limited continuous contact ( moving from one area to another without continuous touch) . I did also have to request for more lotion/oil to be applied due to skin friction. The therapist did adjust pressure as requested to increase the pressure, and did work on anatomically appropriate regions. I did voice my concern about the technique and it was modified somewhat to less quick repetitive motions. One part I did not voice was I felt cold during the session. Most locations have a heating pad and/or use warm towels to remove the lotion/oil from skin. Overall the experience fell short of expectations compared to other massage treatments. . I did feel as though it was akin to a session by a novice student rather than a therapist wth several years experience. I will not opt to return at this time but thank the therapist for his time. While it was awkward to provide feedback I do hope it leads him to be more aware of this and improve his approach in communication for future patients. I would not dissuade others from attending but do feel this review detail is important. And perhaps other therapists would provide a different experience that would’ve been more congruent for me.

I was in acute pain and Momentum was able to fit me in with a physiotherapist earlier than expected. The receptionist even called me to ensure I received the email notification of the opening. Vanessa did a very thorough assessment and I was seeing some improvement by the time I left. Since she'll be away on vacation she had no issue passing on my continued treatment plan to a trusted colleague, and I'm sure her thorough notes. Vanessa was kind and took the time to explain why an exercise was working. Karen on front desk was very quick to return calls and help me out. My first visit was excellent and I'm sure the following ones will be as well.

Nicole is an exceptional Massage Therapist. She is extremely knowledgeable and explains things nicely. She asked about my concerns, examined me and then worked on the areas with issues. Really, the best massage I’ve had! I would highly recommend Nicole.

Vanessa was recommended to me after I had undergone back surgery and I have nothing but great things to say. She is the best in the business. A wealth of knowledge and has had an answer to every question I ask. From day 1 she has been spot on with my recovery. Very punctual and keeps detailed notes on everything!. Very understanding of your pain tolerance and limitations. Pushes you just enough to keep getting better and healthier without regression.
