I was very impressed by my intake here with Dr. Ellard. The office is a beautiful, warm and clean space. The staff greeted me promptly and helped me with any questions I had. Dr. Ellard was incredibly friendly and personable, listening to my history and offering suggestions as to why I could be feeling the way I am in certain parts of my body. He was quick and very professional. I’m excited to continue my work with him at Back in Balance!

I’ve had the most amazing experience at Back in Balance. During my pregnancy I struggled with severe pelvic pain that made everyday tasks difficult. I was referred by my doctor and despite being hesitant (having never had chiropractic work done before, let alone while 7 months pregnant) I decided to give it a try and it was totally worth it! Dr. Norman is so good. She listened to my concerns and did a very thorough assessment before tailoring a treatment plan specifically for me. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and treatment was gentle yet effective. I felt relief after about two weeks of treatment, and continued on an upward trajectory until the birth. I had tried numerous other approaches to managing the pain, and this was by far the most effective. Additionally the clinic itself is lovely. The staff is friendly professional and caring. I highly recommend this clinic, especially to any expecting mom dealing with pelvic discomfort, it truly made all the difference for me!

I was suffering from sciatica since January, I saw different physiotherapist & Osteopath with little to no relief. My condition got so worse that I could not sit, stand, lay down, walk without a limp. I was maxing out on the amount of Tylenol and Advil I could take in a day just to get 2-3 hours of pain free sleep. My friends recommended Dr Norman and suggested I try chiropractic care. I was skeptical at first but decided to it a go, and I was so very happy to be proven wrong. Back in Balance is nothing like I imagined; it's beautiful & calming. The front desk staff gave me a tour of the place and made me feel very welcome. I had my initial assessment done by Dr. Friedman who was very professional and through. My treatment plan was set for 3-4 months by Doctor Norman, I was explained about the movements to watch out for and to avoid. In less than three visits I no longer needed over-the-counter pain meds. Doctor Norman is just simply said "AMAZING" !!! She has this fabulous energy that's infectious, I am not going to lie I have found myself hopping like a child leaving the treatment room on many occasions 😊 I am thrilled to say I no longer have the limp and have recovered. Some other amazing things happened while my sciatica was being treated; I noticed my swimming has improved a lot, especially breathing . My sinuses have cleared and my need to take allergy pills has drastically reduced . Lastly, I noticed I am eating healthy without actually putting in a conscious effort, it came very naturally.
