We entrusted our Belgian Malinois/Australian Shepherd puppy into Morgan’s very capable hands and were blown away with the results. Morgan is patient and caring, but critically, she is exceptionally adept and knowledgeable in terms of training dogs. Our dog is extremely high energy having come from two working breeds and she was having some behavioral issues. After staying with Morgan, she came back with an understanding of right and wrong, and we got to do a bit of learning ourselves. Morgan is an old-school trainer who uses tried and true methods to train. You have to be okay with that and be willing to trust the process. You also need to put in the work from your end. We had such a great experience the first time around that we signed our pup up for the e-collar training. This changed our entire relationship with our dog and we cannot recommend it enough. Highly recommend Out of the Wild Canine Academy. My rescue dog, Henry, is a 2-year-old belgian malinois mix and just completed a 3 week board and train with Morgan. Henry knows basic obedience and commands but has high excitability making him sometimes forget his good boy manners, and wasn't consistently well-trained on a leash so he needed a lot of work there. Morgan helped us tighten up all these skills and taught me how to effectively communicate with Henry and continue this training at home. She is highly skilled in her trade and I'm blown away by how much both Henry and I have learned from her. I vetted several trainers before committing to this program and I realize dog training is a business, but nothing about this experience with Morgan felt transactional and that's what sold me. Morgan is fully invested in you and your dog and not only an incredibly knowledgeable dog trainer, but a wonderful, authentic person and extremely friendly and easy to work with. She is trustworthy, and truly cares about strengthening your relationship with your best K9 partner. I'm so glad we found her!
